In March, the “Modern View” Union held a rehabilitation camp for people with vision loss. Every day, the camp participants worked on skills that may seem routine to most people but require relearning after vision loss. They learned how to navigate their surroundings, practiced independent mobility, and became familiar with basic assistive devices that can make everyday life easier.
We were honored to contribute to this initiative. Together with our partners at Port UA, led by Anna Purtova, we provided participants with white canes and liquid level indicators. These may seem like simple devices, but in reality, they provide greater independence, safety, and confidence in everyday activities.
We thank the “Modern View” Union for this important work, our partners for their support, and the participants for their strength, resilience, and determination to keep moving forward. We are here for you and will continue working together.💙💛
